Sheresa Elliot is employed with the Carteret County Department of Social Services, where she serves as the Foster Care Licensing Social Worker. She has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Winston Salem State University, and is currently working towards a Masters in Social Work and LCSW at East Carolina University.
Sheresa's passion to serve, give back and protect citizens has led her to found I AM HER, INC., a non-profit organization whose mission is to "provide young women with the essential life skills to be successful while building character and integrity. She is a self-proclaimed "country girl" with "big city dreams" to actively change the lives of those around her.
She loves to read, enjoys arts and craft, bike riding and her shopping "therapy." Sheresa loves Krispy Kreme donuts.....who wouldn't......, is obsessed with make-up, and adores a good scalp massage. She has no previous dance experience, but wanted to be a part of the event to support the amazing programs of the Partnership.
James B. Futrell, Jr. is a native of Murfreesboro, NC, where he has spent the majority of his life. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Elizabeth City State University, and is employed as a Probation/Parole officer with the Department of Public Safety. He is affectionately know as Mr. W.I.N......Whatever Is Necessary, Inc....the name of his non-profit organization. The mission of W.I.N. is to provide communities with activities and events that build self-confidence and propel individuals to reach their ultimate goals.
James enjoys basketball as well as planning and executing events and servicing communities through his non-profit work. He loves new experiences, and will try just about anything. His claims to fame: He purchases a lemonberry slush at least three times a week and can eat a 2-piece combo from Popeyes every day.
